Hello, my name is Frank DiCostanzo. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a focus on Mental Health Therapy. I am a veteran of the Air Force and a long-term resident of Washington State. My primary experience involves working with families and individuals who are dealing with conflicts in relationships and personal matters.
I work with preteens through seniors to address personal crises, mental health issues, chemical dependency, and intra-family conflicts, including domestic violence and anger management. I use a dynamic Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to help people address the underlying issues contributing to their unhappiness.
I offer a highly effective short-term therapeutic approach. After an initial phase of therapy, I pause treatment to allow the patient to put into practice the insights they have gained. We then re-engage to assess the next steps. I have found this approach to be highly successful because it empowers patients to take control of current problems and recognize their strengths in addressing future challenges.
Frank helped me navigate some really tough times with kindness and expertise. His approach made therapy feel manageable and hopeful. I truly felt supported throughout my journey.
The care and professionalism Frank offers are unmatched. He listens deeply and provides practical tools that have helped me grow and heal. Highly recommend his services!
